Mission Statement

About Us Mid-week services are offered during the Advent and Lenten seasons, and other opportunities for worship are provided throughout the year. Whatever the format of the day, our services are prayer and praise of God for what Christ has done for us in his death and resurrection. Christian Education is vital to increasing the faith and fulfilling the life of each Christian. Christ the Cornerstone provides a rich educational ministry for all ages. An Adult Bible Study is offered from 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. each Sunday morning. Christ the Cornerstone Academy offers a quality Christian education for children from preschool through sixth grade. The school's motto is CHRIST IN EDUCATION. Daycare is provided for students before and after school hours for working parents. Please click on Academy for more information about our Parish School. The mission of Christ the
Cornerstone Lutheran Parish is to “Lift High the Cross, the love of Christ Proclaim” in blessed Gospel and Holy Sacraments, through our individual and shared redeemed living, so that our family, neighbors and the world community adore His Sacred Name.
In worship together, we return to God our thanks and praise. Our services are at 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning. We celebrate the Holy Eucharist in worship every Sunday. We typically have a traditional service twice a month and a contemporary service the other two Sundays. Sunday worship begins with a children’s message, where all children are invited to the front of the church to participate. After the opening prayers, the children are dismissed for Sunday School to return to worship before the Holy Eucharist is celebrated.
